Default Trackmasters 9/21-Had a great time w/mooty et al

Man I gotta keep going with u guys. I had a great time there and meeting fellow rennlisters like karlooz/early apex and family car. Perfect weather like in the mid 70's and tons of tracktime(granted had to leave early). Mooty was on fire that day busting out a 2:03xx(I'm scared he may even do better with the pca tt that weekend). I'm not worthy but he's definitely help improved my laptimes a second each time I went with him(barring Holger with HOD-I had to beat him by 1 second on best laptime). Hope to see u guys soon- it was hella fun. Mike

yeah, it was a blast at TH.
there was another fast RS out there, tristin was the young driver's name. it was fun when the three of us were chasing each other.

saturday, ambent temp was 65-70F, dry.... i did 4 laps back to back in 2:03, THEN two consecutive laps of 2:02:7x... so i was happy... then no so good....

i corded my brand new 3/32 shaved RA1. had to go home and skip sunday. i bet the weather was wonderful up there today.

a huge rock flown off T8 and kissed my hood VERY hard. i'll have to do some repair off season. i will be at TH with TMR next friday.

pat (family car) and karlooz were chasing each other all day. karlooz's 996 had some weird exhaust on that sounded great.

You know, mooty, a carbon fiber hood would never have dented. I think its time for an upgrade.

You corded a RA-1 from 3/32 in one day?!!! Even on my portly M3 I can usually get them to last for about 3-4 days when I get them at around 3/32...maybe I'm not driving hard enough!

sent a chk to me, i will buy a CF hood and have you autograph over it.

repair bill on my hood is $1k, it's a lot better than hitting and shatter the windshield, get scared ****less and go OTE.

the rock was about the size of my fist

300 track miles

well, it's all part of tracking. the damage is ugly but not too bad. hey, any of you coming out to TH with NCRC this friday? it's still open and weather would be great! i only have one day planned in october with CFRA. would love to do NCRC's two day TH weekend, but my daughter's 3rd birthday trumped TH.

I'm working this friday and ncrc weekend in october won't be there either gotta work on decorations for our annual Halloween party at out place. I'll find some date but it's probably with NASA in oct. Don't worry I got paint chips on my car driver side rear from the repaving on Highway 5 so Mooty it's all fixable-it's primarily a track car neway. If u get down to 2:01xx I'll ****. Before the end of the year If i get to 2:02 I be happy-u already gotten there. Mike

we also had fun @ Sears with Trackmasters we had 3 RS'es and 2 GT3's ...

maybe we should arrange a GT3 only track day for the bay area! imagine the pictures from that!

how about trying to fill the trackmasters @ Laguna with GT3's ...
