Too much for not enough. It would be a great car for maybe $150K base. BUT since Porsche has the X50 package it HAS to price the GT2 for even more than that inflated X50 package. As Robin says its Porsche charging an amazing amount of money trying to cut in on the tuner dollars. A nice TT sent to Stephen the Phd at imagineauto would be money better spend and a better car at the end.
Colors are Carrera white. Black , gaurds red, Speed Yellow, Basalt Black, artic silver, midnite blue, macdamia (a brown), Meteor Gray, Atlas gray, GT silver (my favorite) , Ruby red, and Malachite metallic ( a green)

It really is interesting how they can charge nearly double the GT3 price for what is essentially the same car with turbochargers (doesn't even have some of the GT3's pricey engine internals like Titanium Conrods, since it doesn't rev nearly as high).
It does come with a better standar equipment package though (PCCB, etc.). Not sure if those great 2-piece carbon racing shells are standard in the US or not...

Watt had some oil leak issues that were fixed by Mike Schaatz. They were repeated problems
Not just like one RMS and then it was fixed. But he did get it fixed.
I will be really interested to see if Mr Watt gets a GT2 he had a couple 996s. I would like to see his if he gets one but $200k is a lot of change.

There is an option for paddles, its coded Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera EGear. And in the right hands it outhandles the GT3, as AMS found when they took it down to Italy.
If you want a well built Porsche, you don't buy it from the factory, you buy it from somebody like Ruf - 'Porsches the wy Porasche would like to build them'.
When I first started earning money, I bought Porsche partly because they were cheap yet better built than what was coming out of England, then I put away childish things.

The GT2 is overpriced. It costs as much as a pair of 997 GT3. Unfortunately, it will suffer the used price drop the same way the 996 GT2 did.
I think the 997 GT3 looks so much better than the 996 version, but the 996 GT2 looks better than the new one. This is going to affect resale value as well.
