Given two similar cars, one with full dealer service, one with DIY maintenance, which would you pick?

I have all my changes done by the dealer. My rationale is that they're infrequent, don't cost that much, I get another official Porsche receipt to add to the file folder ("original owner, all receipts...") and if anything goes wrong like a loose drain plug, I have plenty of recourse. But I don't change my 911's oil every 3000 miles either...

This is my 1st Porsche. Does having the oil change done at a Porsche dealer Vs. DIY affect resale? I can easily change the oil myself while my closest Porsche dealer is 110 miles away.

Thanks.
