Cool BEST GT3 EXHAUST

I thought I would post a poll for all of us to see the opinions (good or bad)on the GT3 exhausts that people have installed.

i think you should list 'stock' as an option... my guess is that many would vote for that

Agree that the stock system with bypass plug removed is the best system, I 've heard on a stock Porker for a long long time.

Cargraphic headers, cats and Burns mufflers. This is the best combination I have been able to build/source.

You need to add AWE Tuning. I have the prototype. It sounds amazing, saves significant weight and produces real gain in HP and torque.

I have had the GMG exhaust on for about 400 miles and I can tell you that it sounds great. There is not much resonance. I will have it at the track for the first time this weekend with the exhaust, I can't wait to hear it on a full run.

vote stock... wish I could keep it on sport mode full time. Sort of part of the engine start-up process... unlock door, key in ignition, flip the sport mode, select gear and gogogo!

The only problem with the stock exhaust is the low drumming resonanced at idle. Yeah..the music is in the back...but it almost makes a conversation a shouting match.

Could you go into more detail about the GMG's sound. How much (and at what rpm) is 'not much resonance'? Is the on/off, quiet/loud sound of the stock system less dramatic? i.e., is the volume more consistent as you go through the rev range? TIA

You can. Just unplug it in the engine compartment.
