Rear seats installed (pics)

Does someone have a 997.2 gt3 carpetless race car that can confirm/photograph the seat-belt bungs are not in place in that tub?
I searched around the internet and the seat belt mounting bungs seem to be in every 997 gt3, gt3RS and even a cup car (though the cup car uses them for hoses).
I even found this ad for a 2010 (it looks like a 997.2) with rear seats.

Gt3/2 owners if you're looking to add a right rear passenger seat, I have an OEM panel with the hole cut already for the the mount. It's the standard black panel, no leather or stitching please don't cut your panel. PM me if interested

I don't have a race car, but I have a 997.2 gt3 that I took the rear carpet out looking for these same attachment points. The one on the door side of the car is there and threaded and usable - I think some roll cages connect here. The one on the tunnel side of the seat is not there - this is where the extra thickening material they removed in the 997.2 for lightening apparently made it impossible to include the threaded insert. Too bad. You can weld in a plate that has the threaded insert, but then it gets a little sketchy. Sorry to be bearer of bad news.
Regarding those 997.2 GT3's that have had rear seats added, I would ask a LOT of questions before putting my kids back there. I'm not invoking the insurance boogey man - that's for everyone to make their own determination - I just would want to be sure that the belts are actually attached to hard points that aren't going to rip out if something unexpected happens at speed.

Brining this thread back. I used it to help me source all parted needed to add a full set of back seats. Full leather seats, seat belts, welded brackets, hinges, caps, bolts, etc. May not move forward with the project. If anyone’s interested in the parts, let me know.

One of the reason why I got the GT3 is the ability to put in rear seats. Otherwise, I could have gone for a 360, Gallardo, etc... Nothing against the 997 TT, but the front with that "golf ball" fog light just kills me IMO and to me (no bashing please), its more of a Sports Tourer. Yes, we've beaten the insurance debate to death and would rather not discuss it here.
I just came back from the Porsche dealer and tried on the Porsche Plus booster seat. This seat fits like a glove in the back. So now I don't need to put rear seat backs as it's a real PITA esp. having to weld a piece for the seat back support. Those stock seat back weighs 8lbs each anyway.
Seems this Porsche should have offered this as an option. I've gotten dozens of PMs saying that they've been wanting to do this. Everyone has the same thought...just to be able to take the family out on occasions in the "Weekend Racer" car.

But I believe the seatbelts i sent ya have those brackets on them already. Are you finally doing the install?

Congrats on getting the seats in, I'm sure it's a great feeling. Are you going to use a child seat?

Yes, I've been using a full back seatbelt booster seat for the younger ones. Both the Maxi Cosi Rodifix and Porsche Booster seats fit well. The Porsche seat is the best fit but also a much narrower seat then the Rodifix.

I did not know the .2 cars were such a pain for the rear seats. I think it might be more than I want to do or feel comfortable with.
Congrats to the owners that have them installed!
