if you ever decided to sell your car im sure there are people that would pay you your ask price because of the seats. Good resale for sure.
no doubt about it, people got younglings and to keep wifey happy, rear seats can make or break such a purchase.

nice job.

Lauri, many thanks for sharing the information and pictures.

I have this thread bookmarked for when I install the seatbelts in the rear of my GT2. Now I know which seats to install.

Can you tell me how old/tall the kids you are sticking in the back are ? my 2.5 y/o will obviously fit perfectly but the 10y/o is quite leggy, they say up to 12y/o....how old/tall are yours ? TIA

I have 2 year boy (95cm) and 4 year girl (107cm).
In pictures you see that there is room for even bigger kids, because I am 85kg and 184cm and my daughter sits in the back of drivers seat and there is another 8cm legroom.
As boy is smaller, he is sitting with "straight" legs --- so he need little bit more leg room.

One noticeable thing: with Recaro Monza seats is little bit "tight" to fasten seatbelt (but IMO its OK), maybe Porsche Kid Plus seats have more room for that --- I just do not have possibility to try them, our Porsche dealer do not have them in stock.

One thing what I need to do additionally: must install Velcro straps in the bottom of child seats because they are moving if seatbelt is open. For car I need Velcro "loops" (see picture below)

So, if somebody has same problem, codes are:
997 504 797 00 (left)
997 504 798 00 (right)
Its a metal triangle where is seatbelt connected.
nice work sir! and thank you for the follow up.
Cute kids too

This piece is for the upper belt connection, correct?
And is it welded in? or bolt in?

Yes, it's for upper belt connection and it's bolt in - GT3 has all bolts what you need.

I was thinking that for 10y/o you probably need to install back seats - then you need to find a crashed Carrera rear wings to get welded triangles for back supports. Because they are welded to body, they don't have part # and it's unable to order it without rear wings. Maybe a good Porsche dealer can order these pieces... Everything else is in place, we checked it too.

For information, the two parts listed above ARE fitted to 2009 GT2 so are not needed to be purchased.

Anyone want them I have them surplus to requirements

ah, so the back supports are welded in.
I misunderstood and thought the pieces you had found were the back supports and bolted in.
This explains the lack of a part listed in PET.

Guess I'll need to fabricate back supports...
