Old Guy:

Maybe you can negotiate with hat maker and we all send our order directly. That way, you will only help with the logistics of shipping and will not be considered as commercializing with Porsche products and contravene trade mark issues. Each rennlister is going to participate in a Club meeting in the GT3 category.

Many GT3 categories out there! Is GT3 trade marked, I am not sure?

I dont think its the GT3 letters its the script and the letters in the context of Porsche. I know there are many here than play GT3 on the play station 2 and I am one of them Also GT3 is a class in VARA. SO
as long as we dont infringe on porsches script and logo we are OK We will non be using the GT3 RS either
only the RS degination for RAlly sport.
I cant have them shipped directly. I have to have them shipped to my embroiderer. then I have to do the leg work in getting them to his owner.

that was a good idea though

I'd be interested with the GT3 script. Black with white logo. If you find a work around let me know?

PS: I'm calling BS on the PNA legal letter. I just did a trademark search of "GT3" and the script and there's nothing. You can check it out yourself at: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?...ate=1etstq.1.1
P has not trademarked "GT3" with the script.

Do you have a picture of the GT3 Script that you are going to use?

Just sent mail. I don't think you will get in trouble even if you use the script as long as you don't have the Porsche logo. The other thing is as long as you are not selling them, they can't do anything to you. we decided to form our own club with those as logo hats.

Are you putting the lettering on the front panel? if you are then it opens up an opportunity to put something in the back as well especially if you are going for flexfit.

I think its good to be cautious about Porsche GT3 trademarks and such, but last night I ran across a t-shirt that I purchased at the Porsche parade in Portland. The shirt has a screened copy of the official Porsche photo of the GT3 Cup Car, and underneath that the shirt has the GT3 logo. No (c) notations or anything, and definitely not an official Porsche product. Its a great shirt, but I doubt that Porsche got any royalties, licensing fees, or anything. And there were PCNA guys swarming all over the place, including one of the Porsche family members and his entourage. Go figure . . .

I don't want to cause trouble, but I had these made at a local mall. If anyone is interested in the details, let me know.

Nice but the GT3 logo is too large for me and I would rather have the vent hole stitching and the button on top the same color as the hat, just my $.02.

Norm those look good to me-my only problem is I dont live near a mall (100 miles) and I wouldnt want o stand there and wait for filling an order for 50 of my closest GT3 friends.
Good work though- I want the hats to be flex-fit brand I love those hats and I dont know if I trust a mall to have the REAL flex fit hats.

I hate flex-fit hats.

I would like a nice GT3 hat though.

I like the black one pictured above & would buy 2 in a minute.
