I would say she was somewhat ambivalent about it. It certainly won't hold up to open wheeled expectations, I find it curious her comments on feeling too "rigid" and "back end nervous," and "following the road too much."

I think Danica's opinion should hold some kind of weight. Her level of driving is pretty far beyond ours so you just have to put it in perspective. I don't expect my wife to rave about some shoes she saw at Banana Republic when she is used to buying Manolo's. I bet Danica would be far happier in a Cup/RSR.

Well, she didn't think enough of the RS to bother to buckle her helmet. But I have to admit my RS (which I only drove at the track twice) felt a little stiff-legged too. Maybe new RS's are tuned that way?
But I'll tell you what, she's a cutie and can drive my Z or 3 any time we go out on a date if she wants.

From what I have heard through the grapevine in the racing community is that she is a VERY talented
open wheel driver. She has been training to do so since she was a wee tyke and sent off to Europe.
HOWEVER, she can give feedback on the open wheel car on how it feels to her but shes not technical. She wouldnt be my first person I would look to to give me technical content on my car. Here is an analogy. Here at the Naval Air Warfare Center where I work, our aviators whom are our test pilots are all science degreed aviators so they can converse with us scientists with ease. There are other types of fighter pilots that have different types of degrees and they are good at what they do -but they dont come here. They may go to the Top Gun school in Fallon-they maybe the best warfighters in the world. But we need a certain type of pilot here to do this kind of work. Danica Patrick would not come here.

I'm not sure the point in letting her drive the car in the first place? Other than to say she did this was not going to be a very favorable review considering her open wheel experience. It also seems obvious she's not really into P cars.

I agree w/ OG...there has to be some certain type of science based background to help interpret the data aquisition process....what she should have said after driving the RS is that the high speed compression and rebound would need adjustment to run on that bumpy track (which would require 3-way adjustables) and for a rear engine car to come off of the high speed turns adequately; there needs to be significant camber and tire compound staggering to help settle the rear end....she apparently needs a point and shoot car that is dialed in already.

Communication prowess, and the ability to describe details so others understand in THEIR channels, is directly correlated to IQ. Thats all I have to say in this case.

I watched her driving the Z06 too and was suprised at her commenting on the lack of torque and the slow acceleration...WTF, I mean how many production street cars have more torque that a 7L V-8?
