Never tried it personally, but I know several who have, and it doesn't work too well. Too many scratches from the wipers, among other problems.

On my RS I got the entire Front end, 1/2 of the hood, behind the wheel wells front and back, along each side just above the logo script between the wheels, and in front of the back wheels.

After it was complete this is what my car looked like. (Hopefully the picture will upload)

I got those bugs and grasshoppers while on a driving trip through New Mexico, to Alpine Arizona, down Arizona 191 from Alpine and back to Albuquerque. I drove betwen 5000 and 7000 RPM in various gears for about 1/2 of the 640 mile round trip. There are some isolated stretches that have no sideroad or driveway access. (Anyone seen 7300 RPM in 5th gear yet?) I was driving with a friend who has a GT. It was great following the GT for a good number of miles and being able to see it from in back and the side on the interstate. For those of you familiar with the 191 the RS did very well with the many sweepers, not so tight curves, very tight curves, and cattle guards.

The bad thing about the bra is the appearance of orange peel compared to the areas where there is no bra.
Cool, did not know you were on this board. I was the tall guy with the blue/silve prosthetic leg that was speaking with you about this for a second. Also, I think you are friends with the guy with the red GT3 from that day? If so how is he and his car doing?

The full hood and full fenders can be done in one pc per panel w/o seams. As for orange peel, stretch marks, and other visible imperfections - it is the film and installation. We will post more pictures later describing the differences between the two

I have the half hood job on my TT but will get the full hood done on the gt3- it's just more seamless
