Dealer says that I am probably down to a few days left of 'tweaking' the order.

Currently, I have Carrara White....but Slate Grey has also caught my eye as a way to do something a bit different...maybe with black or even red deviating wheels...(red might be too much)

A little emotional support/help here... White or Slate Grey? Car will be a weekend fun driver/occasional light track time...

I'd say Slate Grey, although white is the color of the day and it does look very nice on the GT3, I find it a little too common

If I had to choose, I would go with Seal Grey which is what I have on my '04 GT3. I haven't seen any 997 GT3 with that color.

i agree on the white being by far the most ordered color...but there will be only around 100 coming to the U.S. in 2008, so even if they were ALL white, chances of passing another on the road are pretty slim...track maybe a different story

yes and no... there is only one last year of the model -- 2008... there are also a few subtle differences in options choices, but other than that, no...

while we are on this topic, any idea of total 07-08 GT3s vs. 04-05 GT3s?... I am sure that those numbers have been posted, but I havent seen them

Subtle changes or not, if you see a white GT3 driving down the street, I don't think you'll know if it's one of hundreds 07 or one of few 08.

Get what you want and never mind the others.

haven't seen a bad color yet for the GT3
..that said, slate is stunning-- esp when it's clean.

If money is no object, go for slate, it's more unique. Given that it's not your daily driver, maybe consider going for a more radical colour like yellow or red. We only live once so why not have some fun along the way?

If you think a '08 is somehow more special than a '07 you're deluding yourself. For proof, look at the 996 GT3's.
