I love your car, it's everything I wish mine was!

The rubber works wonders though... 18x10s @ 17lbs with 285/30/18s on all corners makes for an absolutely awe inspiring amount of grip.

I have less fancy suspension than you though - TC Kline DA coilovers.

Oh, and PS mine is just a 328

Oh and one other thing - I have a set of perfect track wheels 18x9 SSR Comps (16.8lbs ea) for sale for a pretty reasonable price if you are interested?

Wild, the E36 white track car club, who knew?!

Mine's full race conversion now though, complete with some damage from punting someone (he had it coming).

Congrats Jefe. Seth's old car lives on in better form than evar! I still have one set of Big Red adapters for that car BTW should the StopTechs melt under your heavy foot!

StopTechs are a better solution for that car than almost anything else. A lot of people are prejudiced against them because they are not Brembos.

eclou, I have the big reds in a box. Dumped them for the Stoptechs. If I run into issues, I'll try them; if not, selling the big red kit.

walker, just took it down 2222. Cops EVERYWHERE! But you can do absolutely astonishing things in the car; it suffers fools well unlike the GT3.

Andy T, yup, real ltw.

leif, no racing yet. too many demands on my time right now, but one day it'll happen.

you are on SSR? i bend them like straws.
i prefer cheap and strong kosei k1's. but make sure you dremmel the holes, else the wheel will "take off" on their own.

Oh, and NO SUNROOF!
Those M3 lightweights are great cars and a nice find, since there are only 200 of them! Aluminum doors etc... Great car, that will be fun.

Jeff,

Nice E36 M3 LW. Love it in white. The only one (BMW i.e.) I like better would be an E30 M3 Evo. Our bud Alvin has one, but he does not track.

Enjoy in great health.

brembos dont have a good solution for e36m3.
stop tech and only front, retain rear OEM, you are golden.

changing pads front is easy.

with moton blocking the rear caliper..... jeff, you will be swearing and sweating up a storm when you do rear pads. i can't get my wrench or sockets to the bolt that secures the caliper as the shock was in the way
