I didn't have a deposit. The original buyer backed out and Suncoast placed a notice on 6 speed. When the same thing happened at the dealer in San Jose, they wanted 30 over!

Porsche Fairfield sold all their RS's at MSRP.

Great dealer great staff. If you go there tell them Tom with the Black GT3 sent you. I know everything there quite well.

Rob Millar at Fred Lavery Porsche in Birmingham Michigan. MSRP for my RS (VIN 3152). Rob waited until 11pm for me to return from a business trip in New York to deliver the car. Sent me pictures of the car getting off the truck while I was in NY. Let me bug him every day starting when the car entered production (actually even earlier than that).
Rob and Lavery have never sold anything above MSRP. Rob loves cars (and selling them to people who are going to drive them!).
In January, when someone decided to pass on a white GT3, he told me about it and I posted it on Rennlist. It went to a member for MSRP.
If all sales guys were like Rob, a lot of space would be saved on Rennlist's servers!

I'll put a Canadian dealer in here, Hans Ulsrud and Chris Plater at Downtown Fine Cars in Toronto, ON. Not only did they sell the car at MSRP, they also went out of their way to find an allocation so that I could custom order the car. It's been a great experience so far and should only get better when the car arrives in the coming week.

This thread should have an actual list in the 1st post of the dealers that took good care of customers and also a list (long) of dealers who screwed customers.

What are you smoking Toomey?..... They're all ****** who are about to be SOL as our RE market follows Florida into the gutter. I had my S500 at Rusnak last week and all those arrogant salespeople were just sitting around reading mags with 2 GT3's on the lot....

I'm not about to let that comment spoil a perfectly fine evening. You must certainly be referring to your S500 when you talk about the values being in the gutter?
