Default White rubber pieces found at 1st oil change

At my first oil change the old oil contained few little pieces of whitw rubber. Called dealer who said was normal. Is silicone they use when they assembel the engine. Has anyone hurd of this?

Don't worry, they just started using a white polymer for the RMS.

On a serious note, what does this tell us about the filter's filtering ability?

The real issue should be how MUCH? A little is nothing. It's part of the case sealant. I had a little when I did my first oil change at about 6200 miles.

Some dealers think everything is normal... Silicone assembly story is just BS.

How much of it there was?
