Default GT3 available

Not mine, which I hope to get next week. However my dealer has a black one that has 231 miles on it and fairly optioned on the floor. It was purchased and delivered then the new owner decided he wanted a different color and options so he turned it in. I don't know the price but if interested you can call Tim or Craig at the Porsche Center in San Antonio, Tx. Good looking car. It is a GT3 not an RS

Now will that ship just add some steam and get to Houston. It is expected to dock on the 12th and this old guy wants his white GT3..... so I can start enjoying it.

300 plus mission in SEA (multiple tours Air Force) Air to Air, Air to ground and fast FAC in north Vietnam then RTU IP etc. and they paid me. Finally quit flying last month after 41 years. Now it will be the vette (License plate "chk 6") and my soon to arrive GT3 with "F4 PLT" as a plate. My wife also had a license plate frame made that says "Fighter pilots never grow up" ..... and I don't want to. Now if I could only be 21 again and get an F 22 assignment. Cheers

1st of all thanks to both of you for your service to our great country! I've never been in a F4 but that is my favorite jet ever. I loved it when the Blues and T-Birds flew them. I have a great F4 model on my desk, it is a Navy F4B-1 that flew from the deck of the USS Independence.

take care, Mike

I crewed F4's back in the day. I loved being a ramp rat. I was always amazed how you longzippers could make that flying bowling ball seem so elegant.

I can probably get you a ride in a P3 but it would be on the ground and we would be shooting at it.
would that work?

I know this thread has gotten off its subject but what the heck. If you like the F4 do a search for "Chico the Gunfighter" At Danang in 1972 we took one F4 E and added two 20mm gun pods for a total of three guns. Put rockeye armor piercing CBU's on the inboards and went hunting up north. There were only five pilots that flew this warhorse, I was the youngest and thus flew the most missions. I flew at + or - 100 feet and around 500 knots looking for movers in North Vietnam. The guns killed and the CBU's were great for probing. Additionally it was a great weapon for working rescues. The five of us totaled more that 250 missions on the bird and we took only one hit. A small arms it at the wingtip. Now that was fun and then you climbed into a clean F4 and chased MIG's . The Air Force has kept several F4's in flyable condition (besides the drones) to preserve its history.

And this started as a notice of the availability of a Black GT3 ... old guys really get off subject quickly and enjoy every minute. Cheers

f4, thanx for serving the country. my gratitudes.

F4 chasing MiG's. what type, predecessors to MiG-15's?
when i was younger (like 10 years old) i was well versed in all the fighter jets, then i realized i will not be able to afford one for fun...... so i lost interest.

Many BZ's to f4 and OG! I got to observe the action from a destroyer off the coast doing gunfire support and plane guarding the CV's.

F4 you started the thread and are entitled to go OT. How many times did you fly with 105's too.
I worked on those before we got the G models in the 561st tacticle fighter sqdrn. I still have my patch on my desk.-Working for the Navy now very few people know what that is. But everyonce inawhile some one says Yellow Section!!
