The course used with SA testing is slightly different than the one manufacturers use. See the 'official 'ring' wikepedia site, I can't post links to save my life. fwiw, they also list WR's 7:40.

In that case 7:46 it is, still damn respectable compared to the newer cars out!

Yes it is a great achievement for 2001 and no electronic gismos. The 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera with AWD and 530 HP just managed the same time.

Just cut or copy the link and paste it on your reply- the site will automatically make it a link if it's in the proper format.

As far as posting the webcam photos, you have to right click on the picture, save it, and have a site like Photobucket or other online hosting site to host it. You can also upload the photo with the "manage attachments" key below the reply box.

That squares with what I've heard.

Fellas,the 430 isn't even close to my RS, let alone a GT-2!

BTW, am I the only guy who thinks the GT-2 presentation on PCNA'a website is silly?

I wonder if that is a draft from an upcoming article in Sport Auto...just guessing.
It seems unPorschelike (most manufacturers for that matter) to state that this car is clearly better than the other cars produced.

That snippet looks identical to the font and formats used in all Porsche AG publications.

Sweet!
I firmly believe that WR cranked out a 7:32 in the GT2 , 7:42 in the GT3 and a 7:40 in the TT. Hopefully, this will put any GT3/2/TT 'ring time doubts to bed, but I doubt it!
