Nah, with Please Save Me, it won't be as interesting to drive as our GT2.

Cut what out? Some like their cars without Please Save Me.

Cars like this will just make crashes on the track that much more spectacular when Please Save Me gives up on trying to save drivers' lack of talent, at a much higher speed.

It has already happened with the 997 GT3/RS. And they only have half the torque as the new GT2.

I don't know how you can stand your new 911 and the non defeatable PSM when you have a nice classic one that actually required some skills and respect to drive.

When is the GT2 going up on the Porsche configurator section of the site? PSM will not interfere with your track days if you drive smooth and corectly. PSM in NOT like the old style traction control that always use to get in the way. Porsche has done a great job with taking the PSM parameters and putting them very far out.

The 997 GT2 PSM actually can be completely disabled, thank goodness. Oh, and not only that, it won't magically turns itself back on when it thinks you need help.

But, I still don't see why it needs to be there. If you don't have the basics down and try to drive like a hero, the car SHOULD pimp slap you like a little ... and send you to the ditch via FedEx.

The DOT regulation is not yet law.

Oh, and I might be interested in a few years when all the funny money is gone and you can actually get one with reasonable $$ factor and residual.

Provided that it doesn't have mandatory hole on the roof.

And that launch assist, what a joke. When was the last time anyone tried to get the 4 second 0 to 60 time on the GT2? I have never done it, I like my clutch too much.

I too don't see a need for launch assist. If someone can't figure out how to launch a 500+ hp 3100 lb rwd car I don't see how getting full boost off throttle is going to make it anything but harder to control.

How much extra is the helicopter? And if you get the helicopter can you delete the Xenon's to save a few bucks?

If you're so manly, why aren't you tracking a 70's single turbo with the same size tires front and rear?

So now having basic RWD skills = manly?

It would seem that those who cannot control oversteers are the problem, no?

And as far as single turbo with same size tires front and rear, that does sound very interesting.
