What do you think of Volk Racing TE37 rims?

Supposed to be high-quality wheels, fairly light, and they look good.
Some M3 guys had issues with getting replacements in certain widths/offsets. I personally wouldn't buy a set of Volks; I'd go with a manufacturer that does more Porsche fitments and/or can crank out a custom set on short notice (BBS, Fikse, CCW, Champion, etc).

Despite what Varisty says, there is really nothing wrong with Volks. However, he does have a point. They are cheap for a reason. I would use them only as track wheels, make sure the offset is correct and INSPECT them after EVERY event for signs of fatigue.
I look at them like quasi disposable wheels.

My concern about any custom wheels (and Volk, for that matter) stems from the custom 18x10.5 rear spec that a bunch of E46 M3 guys ordered, and later found was either a tight squeeze or didn't fit quite right with certain tires. Getting replacements was a PITA because the factory required a minimum order for custom sizes. That's why I suggested going with a manufacturer that builds a lot of Porsche-specific wheels, or can build you a custom wheel with short turnaround and low cost.

I have a set of CE28n for a non-Porsche and a set of gun metal TE37 for a 993. Bost wheels are extreemly light and good looking. Also, and more importantly, very strong wheel. They are one piece mono-block forged wheels.

Volks by RAYS Japan make awesome rims. IMO, probably the best value for money forged rims out there in the world ( design taste aside )
I m using the Volk Progressive ME 19in on my E46M3 for street use and Volk RE30 for track use. Build quality and strength are fantastic.
I am waiting for a quote from my local deal whom I bought those 2 sets above for my GT3.
Model is TE37 and specs are :
8.5J +51mm
12J +65mm offsets
Very close from stock offsets so the fitment should be perfect..
At moment the standard color is either bronze or white. Custom color at small additional charge.

Talk to John @ CCW about Corsairs for the GT3. Not quite as light, app. 22#'s per wheel, but strong as heck and reasonably priced. I have 2 sets for my E46 M3 track car, for less than 1 set of Fikse's, and they have been sideways over curbing, don't ask, several times with out bending or cracking
