4500 miles zero rattles.
lots of road rash however.

Thanks -- boy, hats off to you (driving it 4x as much as me, and I think we took delivery on the same day)!! No other problems to report so far (zero oil consumption, etc.)

It's probably just based on the 996 GT3 and, with the possible exception of a no-options 997 GT3, their prediction will probably be proven correct.

Have you bought a new Porsche lately?

I have dash rattle on the driver's A pillar area. I notice it at less than 40 mph. So, I just drive it faster or turn up the radio. I am not comfortable with the thought of the dealership opening up my dash for a rattle.

I've got the same thing in the same spot . The rattle developed after 300 miles. It can be annoying at times. Right now I'm going to live with it. I don't want the dealer making things worse.

My rattle in the dash seems to come and go, depending on outside temp -- I am going to leave alone for now too (with the hope that things may settle as I rack up more miles) . . . .
