Question Black RS / black wheels?

Anybody try to order a black RS with black, not orange wheels?

I've got black with black wheels.

Make car look sleeker imo since eye drawn to stripes rather than wheels.

Photos on this site somewhere.

Before I went with orange/black, I asked my sales rep to check with Porsche on ordering it just like that; black/black.
He said Germany told him no.
It's a shame. It would like a stealth bomber and almost as fast.

I think this look is incredible - better than Black Orange IMO. You could easily turn a Black Orange car into this - I would consider installing the satin black GT3 RS Decals on top on the gloss black paint - painting and or buying black wheels and wing end plates and mirrors is all you would have left.

I originially ordered my car with Black wheels but as soon as proper pictures came out showing how good looking the Orange wheels looked, I changed my mind.

Unless you ordered a while back, I don't know why it can't be done straight from the factory. There are options for deviated wing end plates, mirrors and wheel colors.

It was late January when the sales rep called Germany and asked about the possibility of doing it black/black.
The car was loaded on a US bound boat 2/27/07.

Aside from white with black, that one (black with silver) is the first paint scheme I've seen on an RS that I could live with. And paying for white just isn't in me. : )

I agree...or the reverse.

Not that I'm in the market, but I'm curious if there is a 'graphics delete' option yet? If not, I think somthing really subtle like silver with Meteor Grey graphics/end plates/mirrors/wheels might look really good.
