If the B pillar plates exist, it seems like the A pillar plates will be there.
It seems like somewhere mid-production, the factory stopped doing ROW prep for US cars (including various anomalies like fire tanks.)
ps. Who has an RS in the US with extraneous options like the fire cannister, the weld plates for the cage and who had their car arrive with missing items like the chin spoiler brace?

Guys,
None of the US RS's should have the plates. Not the ones already delivered, nor the ones still under constructions.
I don't know why some of them has.
Those who have them, concider yourselves lucky!

My understanding is that PAG had a supply of race car chassis which had the plates. There was a surplus so those chassis went into non race cars. Some of them came to North America. Once the supply was used up, that was the end of the roll bar plates for us.

Regards,
I saw some delivery photos recently where the factory had a wall full of bodies-in-white. Don't they fully seam-weld the whole tub on the race car chassis and the roll cage is part of the process before paint?

The chassis are the same. Only the race cars get the plates welded in as an extra step. Cars destined for ROW get the plates as to the ones going into a race car. Ours don't. It sucks but that's the way it is.

race cars have a welded full cage, no need for those plates in race car tubs
