fwiw any decnt trim shop can fix a little scratch in leather or plastic or anything

First of all, I would leave it alone. How bad is it and who really is going to see it anyway? Secondly, if you want to fix it, I would definately have the dealer do it. That way, no matter what happens it is on the dealer's dime after the normal charge for the initial job.
