My client and good friend had his car arrive in Tampa Today.

Additionally!!!!!! I have have convinced him to keep the car at Reeves Porsche - Tampa, FL, on the showroom floor for all to enjoy and see locally. The car will be at Reeves untill Monday April 23rd.

I have the same color combo on the way. I love the green. I have been tempted to change my mind however I will stay with the green. I think the black wheels are great. I am sure it sounds as well as it looks. My dealer wants me to showcase for a week as well. MSRP I will let him show it off for me.

Make sure they keep the tourists out of the car. Looking is one thing. Scuffing the door jam or scraping the upholstry is quite another.

Most people are very considerate, but I've had uninvited kids jump in the CGT at Road America in Porsche Park and scuff the leather.

Reeves understands the responsibility to protect the RS - locked and hands off please. My friend Scott and I are very fortunate to each own an RS, and we want other Porschephiles to enjoy as well. I will post pics of the two together when mine arrives in May. My Orange Black was born on 4/11/07.

FYI- I drove the Green RS Friday and it is simply amazing and I have owned and driven every 911 since my 993 TT, including GT3 RSR race cars. Of course the race car is in a seperate catagory, but my first impression of the 997 GT3 RS is leaving me speachless!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go to Sebring.

Also, the Green RS on public streets is crazy - everybody was pointing at us thumbs up - plus trying to keep up to check it out etc........ Great color in sunlight.

I was at Reeves today getting a track alingment on my '07 C2S...trying to get more negitive camber front and rear so I do not wear out the side of the tires....anyway you friends car was in back and they showed it to me.

WOW it is really awesome! I saw the orange one at Reeves last month. Henry my sale guy has 3 GT3's coming in that he sold.

I saw it last week when they pulled it into the showroom. I was a little hesitant to accept the color from the photos. It definitely looks better in person... They have to roped off now in the showroom waiting for the owner to pick it up. They say he is in Orlando and can't get it for a few days. Heck, I'd drive it up for him. No charge (he has to pay for gas though )
