Default Just did my first drive in a GT3RS..............

About 15 minutes ago...........a silver car with orange wheels and accents..........in the flesh it is a beautiful color combo.

Likes........

Power, handling, brakes, sound, visual impact on other drivers/passersby

Dislikes........

Alcantara interior, but only because I am concerned very much about rapid wear of steering wheel and seating surfaces. If this turns out over time to be a non-issue then that is good.

The car in sport mode, like all 997's IMHO, has a very wallowy horizontal motion on unsettled surfaces.....almost bouncy. Most annoying........I'd never use sport mode expect at the track I guess.....and definitely not on the street.

Price............same as a 997 TT with this particular example............IMHO it is $25K overpriced..........but hey.......it's just money right ? I have a 997GT2 on order, so these comments regarding $$ may be premature........

Are you a re-seller? Or owner?
Did you get the car from DFC?

I am a dealer, but it is not my car............it belongs to another dealer here in Calgary and is for sale. It is a US car and it is also the first RS in Calgary.

If it is a US car then you only paid $151CDN for it. $23,000 less than in Canada.
Btw, on ferrarichat.com there is a thread about US cars coming into Canada. According to them, effective March 07 warranty work on US cars will not be done by Canadian dealers.
check it out here.

RR.....

It is not my car......I don't know what was paid for it.

That is "my" thread which I started on F-Chat.....my handle there is Kds. If whoever buys this car pays the $400 to the dealer, he too can have something which was already paid for.

Chris.......no idea man...never drove a regular GT3 yet.

So are Canadian Porsche dealers really refusing to do warranty work on US Models?

If you don't pay you don't get...........thus our reason for the pending suit under the Competition Act.
