GT cup rear diff in GT3?
I understand some guys are putting in GT cup rear diffs in their GT3s. This setup is supposed to give lot more low end speed versus top end speed. Has anybody done this? IF Yes. Is the first gear usable on the streets? I Plan on doing multiple track sessions but also drive it to work.
BTW: For members waiting for their cars my dealer says: "Your vehicle was loaded on vessel 4/2 and scheduled to arrive in the Port of San Diego on 4/29.... The name of the ship is CEPHUS LEADER".

Here is a website you can use to track your ships progress to San Diego. It should show up soon in Ships due in port.

As far as Cup diff goes - people have discussed changing out the stock 3:44 ring & pinion for the Cup 4.0 - which will reduce speed in gears. Search NJGT posts as he posted a gear chart showing the change. Essentially the car is about 10 mph slower per gear 1-3 and 20 mph slower 4-6.
The will be very usable in all gears, but will have reduced top speed to 172. This will be a very big improvement in fun factor. I will do this to my RS as soon as I get the break in miles done.
