Mooty,
I actually got my car about 2 weeks ago. I wrote up a short review somewhere below , "first 400 miles" I'm still hoping that I can get my BBS 3 piece rims to work. I had these on my 996 GT3, which I bought used from TRG. They came off one of their cup cars at 9 and 11" but I haven't had the time yet to see how close the offset is, and how easy it will be to reconfigure them.
If I go with the CCW rims, I prefer to get rid of the spacer and just addapt my lugs, I had to do the same everytime I put the BBS rims on the car. Not a big deal really, just a box of lugs that would sit on top of my trackrims, and when I changed the rims, I would change the lugs.
