Default RS clear bra note:

I think I got essentially a gt3 kit.

Note: 800+ mi, now have some stone chips ahead of rear fenders/flares. Needs more protection here. Does the turbo kit or C4 kit have film in this area? (similar to the black on original turbos)

You should give premiere a call about this. They do the best work around. I'm sure they'll be able to help you with that.

You mean to tell me that the RS does not have a clear film on the front of the rear fenders like the C4S and Turbo does?

It adds too much weight for a pure performance car...

How did u get chips there? From your front wheels or off others on the street? Unusual. I have a Turbo, and that car's been driven, got chips on the hood, side mirrors, etc...but none on the rear fenders (maybe because of the air intakes there) but still unusual.

I guess Porsche engineers are really thinking in micro/nano sequences if they're measuring things even in grams/ounces.

Probably because Bay Area freeways are shot! Or maybe because you're driving like mooty!

Mostly highway 1, back roads and some freeway.
Doesn't come with any stock clear protection
I suspect it's being kicked back from the gummy front tires
And, yes...I may drive like Mooty!

Unfortunately no they're not...they used to, just do some research on the 993RS.

strange that you don't have any type of protection from the factory. I'd make sure that whoever you have do it for ya dont' put any exacto cuts on the car. I've had it happen to me including a few friends done by a subcontractor through the dealer and the ***** put some deep exacto marks onto our gals.

For those of us that have 997s with wide bodies such as the C4S/Turbo; those come with a clear film on the front of the rear fenders from the factory.

The films on my car are all pre-cut prior to being applied so there's no "exacto" cutting being done on the car itself.
