For anyone who decides to run 18"s on the track, there is good supply for Hoosier 305's for about a buck a corner. The Hoosier VRL's are essentially the R6 compound tire in a Viper "specific" 305/645/18 size that happens to be about perfect for the 997GT3. You can find a source for their qualifying time trial tires by checking into the VRL vendors/supporters. These are basically going to be tires just scrubbed in. I'm running them with 245/35/18 R6's up front on my TT
