Enjoy the RS.
Enjoy the RS.
No, Doug. I was driving a silver car that belonged to a friend of mine from Houston (John Sinders). At 141 mph in 4th coming up to a 90 degree turn off the banc I was a bit scared. Mine is Fayence yellow.

They called down there for me and asked if it was still there. When I heard it wasn't I was pretty disappointed because I am dying to see one. I asked if you were the one who bought the car but they were unsure. I'm glad to hear you purchased the car! Congratulations!! I hope all is well. Hopefully we can catch up soon.

Hey, Jason! I didn't know you were on this forum but I should have known! Sorry you missed the RS, but I will have it back next week and you know where we live! Give me a call when the weather gets better and you can come shoot the cars.
Thanks for saying hello,
Ray

Ray-
Now that someone has an RS to look at.
There was all kinds of speculation I recall that the USA version would perhaps have a Carbon Fiber hood when the Euro version did not, this didn't make sense to me since I figure if the Euro car has aluminum it would be a very long shot for the USA car to have CF construction.
Well, is your RS's front hood CF or aluminum?

As far as greens are concerned, I did think it was viper green, a fairly "out there" color from the early 70's. However, the more pictures I see, the more "minty" it looks to me. Not that that is a bad thing...
Has anyone seen one in person? Is it "viper" or "mint"?
I note that Porsche calls it "green"...
