Collecting Data - North America 997 GT3 RS
Based on all the interest in the GT3 RS I think Rennlisters will want to know more about the actual cars delivered. In the past (996 GT3) there were/are many questions on exterior colors and major options.
I will collect data on the North America 997 GT3 RS but your help would be appreciated.
Send me a private message with car's VIN and relevant data.

Reminder.
Based on previous posts you folks will want more information than Porsche AG is going to provide on these 2007 997 GT3 RS North America spec cars. I'm not sure the PCNA sales figures will account for the GT3 RS model separately. Please assist and send me a private message with the VIN, primary options, name of dealership if unsold, and state where car is located.
I have data by VIN for seven RS as of 21 February.
1 - black
0 - green
2 - orange
2 - silver
2 - white
Thanks to silverstreak996, DarrellC, and Spark84 for recent help.
I will look into the REGISTRY comments more closely when I return from business travel. Having worked on PCA regional membership information in the past I can tell you its like 'pulling teeth' to get updates from the membership. Joining an RS Registry, would be voluntary of course, and many original owners of the RS probably don't want to be bothered. A Registry is not part of the agenda of a "latest and greatest car" buyer.

I also had this idea, and registered the domain name gt3rsregistry.com. I was thinking that the interest in a registry would be minimal at first, as new owners wouldn't want to be bothered, or wouldn't want to reveal any info. Seems that the older cars get, the more interest there is in a registry.
So here I am, writting sunroof letters to PCNA and PAG, and planning a registry, and I didn't even get an allocation. I'll either get an '08, or a used one.
About 1/3 of the US RS buyers are on Rennlist.

There's a RS color survey thread, with something like 112 respondents.
Some of those folks I've never seen post and can probably be discarded.
I printed it out, and have checked off the names that I recognize as people
who have been talking about and anticipating taking delivery of an RS.
From what I have, I'd say that 70 of them are in the USA and another 10
are in Canada, Europe or the Middle East. (and 32 discarded votes)
So, 70 USA buyers here, out of 229 total. That's almost 1/3.
