i can't speak for others but i own a fiat f430 and love it. my gt3 just arrived at the dealer and i decided not to take delivery because of the dealer beahvior not because of the car. if it was a fiat that had arrived at the dealer i would not have been able to walk away. i placed an order for a gt3 with another dealer for a march built.
the 430 is a significant improvement over the 360 you should try it and see for yourself.
Bob Rouleau had a nice writeup posted on fchat a couple of years ago after taking his 430 to LCMT. he had "a lot of respect fo the 430".

Yeah, I was thinking Exige S before the C&D article, but they did a nice write up didn't they
Icruz, not sure yet. Two Porsches and a 430 is a lot of money in depreciating assets though. What would you do?
RR, sorry for the alarm, most guys here know if the plant did blow up I'd be the last to know.

my is NA, ran out of money.
i think any loti would be a great addition to your F & P car. it fun, not so much $, no so worrisome, just drive the thing. it isn't the easiest car to get in and out need some practice.
dont get 2005 cars, the seats are very different. i had 2005 and 2006. in the o6, i can do 200 non stop, could go longer, but tank is only 10-11 gallons. in 05, my back hurts as soon as i pull out the driveway and my drive way is only 30 feel long!
elise is probably faster than exige na. but they look different.
eixge s is best but 15-18k more dough (assuming you get big discount on exige but no more than 1-2k off on the S).
rev it over 6k, you WILL like it.

Elise/Exige both rock, although the Elise is my favorite. The exige is too confined for me :-)

For here in SoCal...and all the canyon driving....exige in a dark color...to try and stay under the attention radar....Done some squirts in an Elise...only thing to compare it to would be a shifter kart, but w/o the power of a shifter kart...otherwise, change and direction and feel is awesome. If I liked open cars...be a Caterham...superlight...maybe w/a hyabusa engine...nothing would touch that up on Mulholland...except maybe an Ariel Atom....
