Thank you. Please let your wife know how much we appreciate her and value her contribution to society. : )
The owners manual is the "GT3 Owners Manual". I don't believe there is any additional RS information/documentation. Yes, I'll track it. (Why have it otherwise?) I need to set the car up for a DE event in early March. I guess I'll use the GT3 track specifications.
Agreed -- the car is for the track, but not everyone has that intent. As for the track day, it sounds like you must already know the drill. Definitely at least get the car set to the correct ride height (in the service manual) and have the alignment dialed in. It seems like GT3 (997 and 996) arrive in an almost random setup.

For the "race circuit" settings, I'd get the additional rear toe-in, but the extra camber is more than the tyres seem willing to use. Bring a pyro and keep track of rotor temps -- I'm finding the rears are running too hot (or aren't getting enough cooling, depending upon your point of view) but I haven't figured out the cause (let alone the cure.)

Well, I look forward to those pics, especially the wing and deck lid. A pity there's no RS-specific docs.

Cheers,

You can look at it as a 20K option to delete the sunroof.

Would I have paid an additional $20k for an RS? Definately! Is it worth it? Who cares?! I had to "settle" for a plain GT-3 but the RS is special.

The U.S. cars have heavier hardware behind the front and rear bumpers, and rear glass.

I hope you're right and the U.S. RS comes below 3,031 lbs. That would be amazing.
You're right, the ROW extra fuel itself weights about 36 lbs.

And there won't be non modified US GT3 RS with 3031 (or less) lbs weight.

First of all, all forms of the GT3 are awesome (I drove 996 GT3 @ Porsche Leipzig!),
and the 997 GT3 is even better, Congrats on owning a real "GEM" !!

To me, the uninformed it looks just like a GT3 (having no graphics, cage or fancy CGT type seats),
however when I saw a white 997 GT3 at the local dealer before delivery, it was possibly the
best looking Porsche I have EVER seen. Enjoy!

That wing is definately better than the "regular" GT-3. I don't understand why they put that taco back there. They could have put the RS wing on the standard GT-3 and the cup wing on the RS. Now that would have been cool

Nope. Check the bumper stops from a ROW car against the U.S. version. We get a large aluminum frame that goes across the bumper stops, at the front and rear bumpers.
