Thanks for the delete tip.
I'm still leaning, maybe listing, to the don't do anything approach. I can't see it ever looking right with the plastic cover, very much like a 50's sofa. It keeps it clean, but it's uncomfortable to look at.

Same here, I can't stand chips.

I have been looking around for an E39 M5 because I think the E60 is butt ugly. So far, no dice on west coast cars. Most have fronts that are chipped to hell.

Eliminate tailgating from the play book, or know the trajectory of pebbles coming off the tire of a car going 120 mph and there you have it; no more chips.

Unavoidable when you track your car and there are 25 to 30 cars on a 2 mile track all going at high speed.

If you decide to get a clear bra, stick with Venture Shield. Metropolitan Detail here in Seattle did mine, and it's virtually invisible.

Venture Shield is what I have decided to do:
PHONE: 954 394-8250
FAX:954 212-7881
Email:info@AccuGuard.biz
Got information from Glenn Anderson who does all the work for Champion. The Service Dept. says they have never had a complaint. Thought I would pass it on for anyone thinking of having it done in Florida.

I was skeptical about clear bras and never had them on my cars until last year. I am very happy with the results and the piece of mind when I drive. The fact that I was fortunate to have Premier in my region for the installation made the final decision that much easier. Sam and Wilson are simply excellent craftsman and they care.

Default Clear Bra instal

Normank
In the South Florida the best installer that I have experienced is autosupershield.com in Boca Raton, Pepe. He has installed the 3M clear bra on about 12 of my cars. Currently on my new white GT3 (it is virtually invisible) the nose (complete bumper and lights), 1/3 hood and fenders, mirrors. I have it on other vehicles, red, white, silver and yellow. All virtually invisible and protect they do! You can drive with more comfort when you hear the sand or gravel.
I will also put in on my RS that I just got yesterday.

A GT3 and an RS. Just the simple life. Good for you. I did hear a number of recommendations for Auto Supershield and have visited their website. One of the issues was some comments about the 3M product turning yellow or "yellowish". Do you have any experience with Venture Shield which seems to be the new standard? I understand that the installation is more then 50% for this product.
