Default Floor Mats

My 997 GT3 arrived with no floor mats, as neither my sales guy or I had been smart enough to check the box and get the free ones. So a set was ordered and arrived today. It appears they are generic 997 mats, as there are four mats in the set. They are black with "Porsche" embroidered in gray near the bottom of the mats.

I'd like my car to be correct. Do your OE mats have any different lettering? A picture and/or P/N for your OE GT3 mats would be great.

Thanks.

Thanks, all. It appears I got the correct mats. Grussel, special thanks for the picture.

Careering, go to the Porsche website and run the GT3 configurator. Under the "Options/Interior" topics, the mats are still shown as free. You might want to discuss this with your sales person. (This assumes you're in the USA).

Enjoy your trip to Stuttgart. We did Euro Delivery two years ago to pick up a Merc, and it was fabulous. If you have time, be sure to get to the Mercedes Museum. Suggestion: If you're getting navigation, see if Porsche will lend you a Euro DVD for the duration of your stay. MB did, and that made our trip!

I have a big issue paying for floor mats when you are paying over 100K for a car!!! The dealer / sales person should throw them in for free. When I bought last BMW the dealer gave my wife a dozen long stem roses and I only spent around half of a new 997 GT3.
