new pccb hat material
I noticed the pccb brake hats on 997 gt3 appears to be made from a different material than the 997 turbo pccb. looks like either ceramic or a similar type of coating. anyone know what the difference between the two?

From the PCCB section of 2007 GT3 Technik Introduction:
the aluminum brake disc hub that is new and specific to the GT3, reducing unsprung masses for the vehicle as a whole by a further 4 lbs.
