"Bob,

I may be fickle about my cars, but I'm not fickle about my women (33 years and counting)

Of course, she also indulges my cars!"

Colm, nothing bad intended. I'm with you, I married a PCA instructor after all. She also indulges my cars. The down side is that I have to buy two of every Porsche

I'm afraid I can't be tossing aroung the 997 GT3 the way I can my 993. Of course once the "new" wears out (whether it's new, or new to me), I might be more willing to start modding & tracking the GT3 (or 2).
My plan is not to modify GT3 or 2 much at all but we all know how those plans hold...

I'm sure the loss of power (when jumping into my 993 after driving a GT3 or even better, a 996 GT2!) will be pretty sdaddening...

Not crazy about the GT3 rear wing but everything else is perfect. I can afford it so that's not a problem- my E60 M5 would still be my daily driver and the Rover my SUV for the dogs, etc. Ferrari's are too flashy for my conservative tastes. I don't want to be the old gray hair guy trying too hard to look young and hip but, damn- that GT3 has got to be the most exciting sports car to drive for a true Porschephile...
no but you are a ***** for not going to the track

Yeah that theory only works on paper...drive it and drive it hard and mod it like it's the last car you'll ever have...because God only knows, it may be your last...

Finn you're talking ****! The minute you drive it once, the first thing that's going to pop in your head is (same thing that pops in mine) "hmmm I wonder what this can do on the track...ahhh **** it when's the next DE?!?"

Of course you can still drive it on a daily basis but you WILL also drive it on the track! Either that or eventually you'll end up in jail!

Have at it. You will wonder why you even hesitated. I still can't understand why I waited so long. Thought the 993 was king.

Mine is a daily driver. One day I will get it to the track just so I can hear it wind out properly.
