My new car will arrive in April and I will need seats, harnesses, and half cage. My dealer tells me he can't get any information on the cost or availability of the sport seats. Does anyone have this information?

Every dealer and parts after-market place is killing themselves to get those things.
Watch this space -- I'm sure Rennlist will be flooded with offers once they're available.
Given the 997 GT3 shell seat is now a CF composite (not a plastic composite) expect the price to slow down your reach for the credit card. Rumours and guesses range from $1500 and up -- the worst I've heard so far is $5K/pair. Plus sliders, sub-belt brace, tax, freight, installation ... yikes!

Seats:
Weighing around 20 kg (44 lbs) in total,
the overall saving compared with the standard sports seats is
approximately 24 kg (53 lbs).
Brakes:
Claimed:
total weight saving of
approximately 50% compared with metal discs of similar design.
The PCCB in front are 380 mm vs 350 mm steel in the front. (50% savings??)
This may be offset by the aluminum brake disc hub that is new and specific to the GT3, reducing unsprung masses for the vehicle as a whole by a further 4 lbs.

$7300 is crazy, but it's only 6.9% not 14.5%.
Related question - would the Euro 996 GT3 seats fit in the 997 GT3? Since both Euro seats are w/o airbags, it would be great if the 996 ones worked.
I assume different sliders would be needed?

996gt3 seats fits in cayman s (i did it on mine with zero mods, plugs right in) and have seen them in 997, thus i would speculate those will fit the new GT3's. you will have to coax your dealer to turn off the irritation airbag warning light.
