Default What roll bar is this ?? is this what the row gets?

this was in Icon's post regarding fire extinguishers but this roll bar blew me away....I want it!

it's mobile's from rennteam's, front roll cage from porsche motorsports (1500 euros)
requires special cert. to be road legal.
check out his camera mount b/t the seats

all what jeff (icon) said is true but people do it all the time don't think you would have a problem
people have more serious welded cages on their track cars and some(though few) drive them in the street

only issue with front section of a cage is safety without a helmet in the street...a decision you need to make

i plan to get it ..been drooling on those pics for some time @ rennteam

Dang, I guess I shoulda worried about that before I started riding my choppers without a helmet through the streets of Manhattan for the last 15 years.............I reckon I gotta get me a M/C license on day, too... (pic is of one of my chops I built by hand)

Beautiful Chopper!

The cage comes as standard in the ROW GT3 Clubsport and GT3 RS. The front part is dealer installed, same with the fire extinguisher, and if you're running in the street, it should'nt be mounted unless you wear a helmet.

i thought the front roll cage was additional and not part of the clubsport pkg?

do you sell choppers or just build for personal use?
the vendor on the front roll cage pictured is porsche motorsports, price 1500 euros

is also available separately from Porsche Motorsport.

FIA approved roll cages have tubing to protect from side impact, the one in the photograph is missing this protection.

just got the bug to build my own (way before it became "fashionable" to own a chopper) and this is the result of my first try...built a couple for friends but just for fun and cost of materials to them.

You'd be better off doing a custom rollbar.
