way will you prepare your USA version? welded or bolted?

that should make it easier to duplicate; will the bars come prepainted if ordered so or do we have to have it done over here?

it's not hard to duplicate. cosmos had one ordred for his 996gt3 before.
you can have auto body shop paint it to match and then just bolt into the car.

I got the RS cage from Porsche, it was 3 pieces and just bolted in.

If you're talking about that little piece that's cut in the rear carpet, no that does not mean your car has had a previous bar. I don't know why it is cut there, but I believe they all come with it.

the plates are welded in.

the bar is bolted to the plates.....

you also have to buy the plates separately from the bar itself.
