They (RSAs) are holding their values well though so it might be worth the money in US that way, surely real (=ROW) GT3 RS will be worth much more money in the long run though.

the 40k cars are all garage queen.
what i am saying is ppl like us, who drives the toys, are doomed. if i were to pick up a GT3RS for 130k, log 45k miles in two years, how much will you pay for mine? i promise to stay away from walls, trees and other hard objects

now if we can get GT3RS to be less $$$ than 997.....

I bought a RSA new after the 993 had just come out and paid $39,900, with AC, LSD (no sunroof). I had it for two years, put a $10K into it for the track and sold it for $55,000 with 22,000 miles. I would like to duplicate that experience again, but it is not likely to happen!

I bought a used '94 RSA in '96. Less than 1000 miles -- the owner couldn't believe Porsche would build such an uncomfortable car with heavy steering. White, no sunroof, a/c. Loved it. Put 20K+ on it as a daily driver, club events, track days. Spent a few dollars on exhaust, lsd, brakes, tires, tires, tires. Paid $40, sold it for $45 with one ad in the local paper. It was insured as an RSA, so it had a higher insured value than a Carrera 2. Perfect introduction to owning a Porsche. Turns out to be also a completely misleading introduction ... : )

Bought a used 73S in the paper for $16k in the late 1990's and sold it 4 years later for $27k (should/ve kept it though - now worth over $50k). You don't need to take a bath when buying a Porsche (my 993 is worth same as I paid or more after driving it for 3 years and 20k miles - got it for a good price).
