I think that black on silver looks good, but I prefer the orange on black decals and black wheels or the green on black. RS should only have two contrasting colors- thats it. if you had black paint, silver wheels, and orange decals i think it would look to kit car and not original. I like the colors of the 996gt3rs, but I also agree with the previous posts that NO way would i go silver for a gt3rs

Someone else wrote that they really think you can get a white exterior. The black RS decals are already in production so why not.

I've PCCB and I've Steel rotors. I've driven on both of them at track/autocross/street. Originally, I ordered my car with Steel brakes.

PCCB rotors are great for street (clean wheels + cool factor), great for autocross and Time Trials (- 42 lbs unsprung weight). I even run them on not brake intensive tracks, or cold track days. The reduction on unsprung weight is very noticeable with PCCB.

Steel rotors are affordable, they overheat sooner, but they take all the abuse. I've installed studs on my uprights to make rotors swap a 1 hour job.

My expectation was that if PCCB could last 3 years for my application, I would be ok with them. I bought them used with 5,000 miles on them, they have another 19,000 miles and almost two years on my car, and the surface stays smooth.

Great post on another thread re black with black wheels. IMO looks better than orange.

Also doctored photo with black mirrors - even better? More balanced.

Can anyone pls add silver wheels to black car with black mirrors.

Originally I spec'd mine Black/Orange with Black wheels but the dealer said that it can't be done. That was before I saw the official pictures and I changed my mind. I ordered the rollcage Black but that's it. I'm keeping my Orange wheels.
