Just keep in mind that Motor Trend uses very generous correction factors in their performance data. Not sure of Auto Bild. AMS lists actual performance data (along with testing weather conditions)

How about comparing test results from the same magazine, Autobild:
996 GT3: 0-100/200 km/h 4.6/15.1 seconds
997 GT3: 0-100/200 km/h 4.3/14.1 seconds
996 GT3: 0-100/200 km/h 4.6/15.1 seconds
997 GT3: 0-100/200 km/h 4.3/14.1 seconds

It's a carbon shell, with no composite glass version available. However, you can use the 996 GT3 Carbon or FiberGlass Recaro versions.

Different magazines, different test procedures and different test conditions. I'll wait for Car & Driver, Motor Trend and Road & Trash (Track) to run one through the mill before passing judgement.
