I have heard from numerous folks in Europe that Porsche is considering offering the GT3 RS in white. A friend of mine told me that in fact there is one white RS coming down the production line. My US dealer is pointing me towards the Porsche US website and can't even tell me whether I can combine black with black wheels.

What have people heard?

can you order custom colours on GT3 and GT3RS? I posted this question before to no avail.

what about on the GT3...just the stock colours (which seems like all of the stock 997 colours) or can you 'paint to sample'.

As an aside...I'll vote for the green.

I spoke to a large German dealer this morning (can't help me order a US spec car), who indicated that Porsche really wants the RS to be "different" from the standard GT3 and for that reason only the 4 colors (silver, black, orange, green) will be available. He did mention however that many folks are bombarding Porsche for white and hopefully Porsche is listening. Also, you can't paint to sample an RS, only the standard GT3.
