Ain't that the truth?!

How did I blag the drive? Even I'm not sure as i can never blag anything!

It all started when I told them I wanted a GT3 , but wanted to be sure about the ride and noise level before committing. That and the fact they wanted my 964 for the display last night. Then there's the fact that they're a really enthusiastic bunch of people and could see I enjoyed talking to them all beacuse of that fact.

Anyway, out of the blue, I was asked if I'd like to sample the ride and noise of the RS, so off I went, amid envious looks all around - nobody had been allowed to drive it (I mean, even among the OPC employees) until then. Katherine (sales person) then blagged a ride with me and off we jolly well set. Of course, being new, the car park is large, clean, beautifully surfaced and it was nice and wet, so good fun sliding around and generally hooning was just a throttle blip away.

Of course, I then went on to blag a drive of a 996 GT3 (on a roll, then...), but still couldn't be sure! So I'm now booked on a GT3 driving-experience day at Millbrook. However, I HAVE placed a deposit on a 997 GT3 (for May), subject to still being happy with it after that. Fussy bugger, me.

Seriously - what a really nice atmosphere there is over there. So nice to deal with people who really love both the cars and their customers. Full marks all round.

Very nice of you to call it that (especially as I'll be selling it when the GT3 is on the horizon), but yes.
