Default 997 GT3RS in December issue of Total 911

Out on the 9th November, we're running a 10-page feature on the new 997 GT3RS. It should be the most detailed and comprehensive of all the UK/European road tests, as we're the most focused magazine and as such the only one that can run 10 pages on one car.

The December issue (Issue 19) will be in the UK shops from 9th November, and also available on the Total 911 website (www.total911.com) on the same day for posting worldwide (Airmail)

'most focused'.....that's a pretty sweeping statement.........

Most focused - well, we do write about only 911s...that's more focused than any other single-marque magazine!

Driving - It's not a track test, so it's written by a writer rather than a driver...however, it is one of the UKs most experienced motoring journalists, and not one of the regular Total 911 team...

Was it from the Paris test ???

What i'd really LOVE to see, is a back to back comparison with the 996 RS...........any chance in the future....?

Look forward to my copy dropping onto the mat

I drove an orange 997 GT3 RS yesterday. It was only around a wet, empty car park so I can't provide much in the way of analysis, but it was great fun...

How does the orange colour look in person? could you live with that color everyday?

It doesn't look as washed out as some have said. Personally, I don't want something THAT startling, but if I was somewhat more extrovert - sure, I could definitely live with that. It's a great colour.

Here are some pictures from my phone of the car I drove yesterday. They are useless, of course, but at least it's yet more pics to ogle...

Note that the car is sitting at 2000rpm because I couldn't bring myself to lift my foot from the throttle for a moment. ROFL
