My other concern is the rear centre console - it's a big slab of awful plastic and while in many cars you can colour code it to the exterior colour, with black exterior paint it doesn't really do much for the interior (above the stock black plastic). I also found the painted centre console scratched very easily.
As someone else said, I'm also worried about the alcantara wearing badly on the shift ****, so perhaps the small carbon pack is the best way to get rid of the silver dash strip and the wear on the alcantara...
I also think it would be nice to bring the special ness of the seat backs into the rest of the car - I know that sounds a bit garage-queeny but I'm sure some of you will know what I'm going on about in terms of aesthetics

De-carbonized and alacantara interior is perfect for a GT3. I sat in one recently and the interior is so much better than any other 911. Adding expensive bits of carbon/plastic, wood and leather does nothing for a true sports car like the GT3. I would prefer to leave the interior standard and spend the savings on big yellow brakes.
For interior bling yellow seat belts are okay - but not with the clubsport package with the harness in red.

The seats are ~$6500 on the UK configuration guide, so ordering them with the car wouldn't have been that great of a savings. I wonder how much of a deal you could get on these at Sunset...

They standard equipment on the RS...now I expect Porsche to adjust US pricing accordingly and that goes for all the goodies we don't get here!
