I've heard different things from Porsche dealers and browsing through here, so I was wondering if anyone had any concrete dates. To my knowledge, the first US GT3s are being built in November, and the RS wasn't supposed to be until March/April. Is this true, or is the RS coming sooner?

 

Rumor: RS is to be a 2008 model in NA

 

Approx 60 or so GT3 have OCT production
Approx 60 or so have NOV production

These comprise the allocation periods Aug - Nov (2 rounds)

My guesstimate that the first GT3 units should hit our shores Mid-late Nov early Dec.

The watered down US RS version slated for Spring '07 which is most likely an optimistic date.

 

I'm #1 (of 5 allocations) on my dealer's list here and it is a December build.

I've got a confirmed Oct build with supposed Nov delivery. Guessing it will show up in dec

 

The GT3, not the GT3 RS.

Is it possible to get a November production car? Mine got bumped to June.

 

well i got postponement no.1 on my gt3.
dealer emailed yesterday that my completion date in the computer went from the above 10/18 to now being 11/03.

Well, you are all over the place - and so am I! It looks good in so many colors. My car is to be built Oct 31 (happy halloween) and it was White, then Colbalt, then White again. But, I may change it again, if I can LOL!

 

I've got an RS on order (blood orange) and there is a very distinct lack of information on when it will be available. I've got a friend in Cinci with a black RS on order and the dealer just called him and tried to switch him into a Turbo, was really fudging on his build date. Mentioned that it might be fall '07 not spring. This will really **** me off! A whole summer of track days down the drain!

I've also noticed a few websites mentioning the " '08 RS." Makes you wonder.
