My dealer asks for deposits on the RS...which means absolutely nothing as far as I'm concerned...
Jerseybean,
I'm in between those two colours myself, if in fact those are the choices!
All,
Can anyone photoshop that black wide body (persumably the RS) in Gulf Blue and one in Signal Orange with black wheels??

I originally placed my name on the list for a 997 GT3. I was #3 on the list for that car. I called the dealer back about a month ago, and asked to be placed on the list for just the RS. I called back this week, and asked for a faxed confirmation from the dealer, with my deposit information specifing just the RS. The saleslady, told me that I am #1 on the RS list. - This is from the largest P dealer in Houston.
I hope this is going to happen. I am not holding my breath.

I might be a first time poster here, but I do have some credibility.
Maybe Grant (Denver) can vouch for me.
Do you really think the Motorsport Department in Weissach would choose a PASM system if they hadn't felt it was the best system for the car?

Dealer will tell you anything to get money. Bait and switch. DOT will not have a real RS in the US. If an RS come here it will not be the same as the ROW. It will just be a badge.

15+" front brakes on RS
I think i just figured out something interetesting to everyone here.
If you look closely at the "widebody" RS spy pictures, take a look at the size of the front brakes. They are definitely larger than the regular GT3 and the rears. In the picture they look like 15" ceramics, which must be same/similar size as CGT.
Now thats some serious braking!!

The 997TT PCCB will be using the 380mm/350mm combo (also used on the 997 GT3 Cup in the Porsche SuperCup).
However, on the 997 GT3 pictures with the yellow calipers, the rotors don't look big enough to be 380mm, they look like 350mm units. They don't mention the PCCB sizes on the comfort GT3 brochure.
