I wanted one, but they are not interested in sending one to Japan. Just a nice way of saying your not cool enough because I'm sure a few guys here will get one.

I run the 93mm. We tested with the 100mm and found the 93mm (hellcat i think) TB was optimal for peak power and mid range TQ.
I have nothing bad to say about Dundon. Great and quality stuff and people. I think you can notice a bit of low RPM slouchiness from the intake manifold but the HP bump is definitely a punch.
I have street headers with the loud steel muffler and it sounds good at low rpm and cruising but I miss my old JCR Ti setup under WOT and high RPM.
Yeah Vin, your content lately has been top notch! keep it up.

Did you happen to get before and after dynos of the Dundon stuff? Ive been contemplating the setup also but I do alot of my driving under 4000rpms also and worry it'll ruin the feeling.

Thank you! Yes, we did though my car was not stock- it had GMG headers and JCR Ti exhaust. I can find pics of the charts but it was 412hp before and 465hp after (with 92 and a few gallons of 109oct).

It doesnt ruin the feeling under 4k. I would say the only time you notice is while blipping the downshifts at low RPM. Its pretty dead on the blip below 3k but the .2 felt like that stock too IMHO.

Your old JCR Ti set up is still getting plenty of WOT and high RPM use! 🫡😆

@vma1788 It comes through so clearly on your video how much you do love your 997.2 GT3 RS, and for that you definitely won me over right away. Although I enjoyed Hoonigan content with you involved, it's easy to see that you can now make content that appeals more directly to the cars that you personally love. If this latest video is indication of what is to come, then we are all in for a great time! Keep up the great work.

Thanks man. Hoonigan was a ton of fun but certainly not my personal style. Moreso top of funnel for the younger generation at the time. The 997 GT3RS is my ultimate dream car BUT it doesn't really do well on the channel. Which is fine as it was never meant to be a "content" vehicle but i am sort of surprised given the mass hype around the GT3RS overall right now.

Have you tried crashing the 997RS into a wall, then starting your rebuild series? I bet that would garner the viewership you're after!

Vin,

Not sure if you remember, but we exchanged some dm's about setting up a good comparison between your dundon setup and a fairly stock RS. Love the content and the car man. Congrats on building the channel rather fast!

Niko

I'd love to see a comparison like this.

I just subscribed, I had no idea your background, never followed Hoonigan.

Have always thought, as an auto YouTuber, be honest tell it like it is 100% and people will follow.

Good luck!
