I am really hoping someone of the forum may be able to help me with my recent purchase.

I bought a 2007 GT3 RS Clubsport last week and was sourcing an exhaust on 6Speedonline last week. I had a seller reach out saying he had an RSS exhaust below for sale and when it arrived the tips and style look much different than the actual RSS unit.

The seller said it was the early version of the exhaust and could not prove this was the case. All I am hoping for if someone recognizes this exhaust as he said it was listed on Rennlist marketplace long ago?

Also is it a good chance if this is a replica it still should sound the same. Not sure what to do but hoping for advice.

That looks very similar if not the same as the early RSS exhaust that I've seen.

 

RSS had changes over the years, hard to say... looks well made.

 

I do know a place that can confirm if the exhaust is made by RSS.

Looks right to me. They changed later on to the double walled tips

 

Ut's not just the tips it's the way the entire piece is constructed. The ew center deletes are symmetrical where the old style looks to be a bent pipe with two holes bored through it.
