Default Is my 2007 GT3 tuned?

How can I find out if my 2007 GT3 currently has a tune? I have a Cobb tune that I want to install. Thanks!

The Cobb should run a checksum on the car before flashing.

Do you have an ODB2 scanner? There is a Calibration ID and calibration verification number which is a checksum, it shows in my ODB2 scanner (just a generic Autel one) as:
CalID: 99761862992
CVN1: AD F7 7A DE

This 2nd one is an ECU checksum (calculated by the ECU) and it should be the same for all 2007/8 cars, California uses this to check for ECU tunes. If your car is tuned, this value will change

I'll do a Piwis scan for you if you'd like-that way you get a Vehicle Analysis and if you want a Vehicle Handover as well, and keep as a record of the current state.
When was the last time you did spark plugs? Might be a good idea to put new ones in, and also consider the state of your battery. I haven't read about Cobb GT3 maps in a long time-they did make an E-85 tune but for the .1 cars only, not sure they continued with it or not, so I'll go read about it out of curiosity. All of these tunes benefit turbos a lot more than NA engines so I've stayed away from any tuning, though I. did use it with my BMW years ago. See what other GT3 owners have to say about it. There is an older thread on a GT3 E-85 Cobb a few years ago if you search-

Here's a Cobb E-85 thread-but after visiting their site, it appears they aren't offering it anymore

I have a Durametrix Pro a and a Foxwell. I will check my CVN1 number and compare with yours. Thanks

Thanks bro. I will get with you one of these days. I have the Cobb handheld with a regular bench tune for different fuel octanes and some exhaust/intake modes. I just want to make sure my car doesn’t have a tune so I won’t fry the ECU with the Cobb. Thanks
